Rossella è una pianista e compositrice italiana attiva anche nel Regno Unito. Affianca l'attività di esecutore a quella di insegnante.
Con la sua musica ha accompagnato cori, cantanti solisti, altri musicisti, attori di teatro. Il repertorio solista spazia dal pop-rock agli standard jazz, dalle musiche da film al repertorio classico.

Nata a Brescia nel 1972, inizia lo studio del pianoforte a dodici anni con il M° Maria Gatta, studia quindi al Conservatorio Luca Marenzio con i Maestri Maurizio Zana e Teodoro Simoni. Nel 1998 si diploma in Pianoforte presso il Conservatorio Pollini di Padova, sotto la supervisione del M° Ines Scarlino.

Nel 1993 inizia lo studio della musica moderna e suona come tastierista in una rock band, i Black Stones. Nello stesso anno intraprende l'attività d'insegnamento, alcuni dei suoi allievi saranno poi ammessi al Conservatorio Pollini e ad altri Conservatori del Veneto. Si aggiorna costantemente sulla Didattica e sulla Psicologia della Musica.
Approfondisce le proprie conoscenze dell’informatica musicale apprendendo l’uso di vari software tra cui Sonar (digital audio workstation) e Finale (videoscrittura musicale).
Nel 2000 si iscrive al corso di Composizione del M° Fabio Crosera presso il Conservatorio Pollini. Questo corso le permetterà anche di studiare la vocalità, le percussioni e l'organo (con il M° Francesco Finotti). Nel 2016 conseguirà con pieni voti il Diploma Accademico di Primo Livello in Composizione.
Nel 2002 le viene affidato il ruolo di pianista nel Coro Gospel Notenere di Padova con il quale si esibirà in numerosi teatri e piazze del Nord Italia. L'esperienza con Notenere durerà fino all'estate 2012. Con essi registrerà due dischi: The Joy Is Coming (2003) e Notenere (2008). Sempre nel 2002 scrive il jingle per la ditta Amì di Padova.
Durante il 2003 le viene proposta una collaborazione con gli Improbabili Jazz Group con i quali appare su Telechiara. Dal 2004 si esibisce con varie cantanti in duo voce e pianoforte (tra esse anche Susy Dal Gesso e Barbara Capaccioli), i repertori spaziano dal pop al blues, soul, jazz, fino ai cantautori italiani.
Nel 2005 sviluppa due progetti con il chitarrista Stefano Rampazzo: un repertorio per pianoforte e chitarra di stampo colto ed uno di musiche country e pop. Nello stesso anno conosce l’attrice Saida Puppoli con la quale lavora a vari progetti per il teatro. Partecipa a diverse edizioni del Buskers Festival di Ferrara, alla Gospel Night di Padova (2005) ed alle Notti Bianche patavine (2005 e 2006).
Come solista si esibisce nel Centro Culturale S. Gaetano ed in prestigiosi locali della città come PePen, Belle Parti e, regolarmente, per cinque anni, Ai Navigli. Proprio qui ha la possibilità di incontrare noti artisti italiani quali Red Canzian, Ivana Spagna e Nek e di ricevere il loro apprezzamento. Il repertorio solista include le più celebri canzoni del repertorio italiano ed internazionale, musiche da film, gli standard jazz più noti, ma comprende pure rock ballads e spazia nelle aree minimalista (Allevi, Cacciapaglia, Einaudi, Nyman, Sakamoto) e gospel, senza dimenticare alcuni brani tratti dal repertorio classico.
Nel 2011 torna ad esibirsi al Teatro Verdi. Al Centro Culturale S. Gaetano partecipa a vari spettacoli in cui esegue anche musiche da lei composte. Ritorna anche al repertorio classico con una serie di serate dedicate ai compositori romantici. Entra a far parte del Coro del Conservatorio Pollini con il quale si esibisce in varie occasioni.
Nel 2014 lancia una petizione per ottenere una targa commemorativa per il batterista Cozy Powell a Cirencester (UK) e contribuisce ad organizzare la cerimonia di inaugurazione. L'evento avrà luogo il 7 Gennaio del 2016. La targa sarà inaugurata da Brian May, Tony Iommi e Suzi Quatro. Altri artisti presenti all'evento saranno Bernie Marsden, Bob Richards, Carl Palmer, Don Airey, Mike Terrana, Neil Murray, Paul Raymond, Ted Mc Kenna, Tony Martin.
Nel 2015 estende le sue collaborazioni al Regno Unito, a Norwich si unisce al batterista e cantante Gary Kennon nel duo The Dream Debut, il duo esegue sia covers che composizioni originali tratte dalla discografia di Mr. Kennon. Durante l'estate si esibisce regolarmente nel café Platform Twelve. A Padova si esibisce per l'associazione culturale In-verse.

Nell'estate del 2016 suona con cadenza quasi giornaliera presso Harriets, Cafe Tearoom, situata nell'elegante London Street, in Norwich. A questo aggiunge alcune serate a Platform 12.

Nel Giugno 2017 si esibisce, per i Concerti del Conservatorio, al Gabinetto di Lettura (Padova) eseguendo al pianoforte una delle sue composizioni. Il concerto sarà replicato altre tre volte tra Ottobre e Dicembre, in luoghi diversi tra cui palazzo Zacco in Prato Della Valle. Durante l'estate continua ad esibirsi nei locali di Norwich.

Rossella is an Italian pianist and composer who also works in the UK both as a performer and as a teacher.
She has accompanied choirs, soloists, other musicians and theater actors. Her solo repertoire ranges from pop-rock songs to jazz standards, from movie soundtracks to classical music.

Rossella was born in Brescia (Italy) in 1972 and started studying piano at the age of twelve, taught by M° Maria Gatta. At Luca Marenzio Conservatoire she was in M° Maurizio Zana and M° Teodoro Simoni's piano classes. She graduated in 1998, at Cesare Pollini Conservatoire (Padua), under the supervision of M° Ines Scarlino.
In 1993 she began the study of modern music and played as keyboardist in a rock band, Black Stones. In the same year she started teaching piano, some of her students have been admitted to Pollini Conservatoire and other local Conservatoires. She constantly keeps up-to-date in Education and Psychology of Music.
She has also deepened her knowledge of music software, learning how to use some of them including Sonar (digital audio workstation) and Finale (music notation).
In 2000 she enroled in Composition class of M° Fabio Crosera at Pollini Conservatoire. This course also allowed her to practice singing, percussion and organ (M° Francesco Finotti). In 2016 she achieved the Bachelor's degree in Composition with distinction.
In 2002 she was asked to become the pianist of Notenere Gospel Choir (Padua) with whom she performed in various theaters and outdoor venues in Northern Italy. The collaboration with Notenere lasted until summer 2012. With them she recorded two discs: The Joy Is Coming (2003) and Notenere (2008). Also, in 2002 she wrote the jingle for Amì, a company in Padua.
During 2003 she was asked for a cooperation with Improbabili Jazz Group with whom appeared on local tv. Since 2004 she has performed with various singers in voice and piano duos, the repertoires ranging from pop to blues, soul, jazz, and Italian songwriters.
In 2005 she developed two projects with guitarist Stefano Rampazzo: one of them was based on classical music featuring guitar and piano, the other one on country and pop music. In the same year she met actress Saida Puppoli and worked with her at various theater shows. She took part in some editions of Ferrara Buskers Festival, Gospel Night and White Nights in Padua (2005 and 2006).
As a soloist she performed in S. Gaetano Cultural Centre and in prestigious clubs and restaurants of the city as PePen, Belle Parti and, regularly, for five years, at Ai Navigli. Here she had the chance to meet famous Italian artists such as Red Canzian, Ivana Spagna and Nek and receive their appreciation for her performances. Her solo repertoire includes the most famous Italian and international songs, movie soundtracks, jazz standards, and rock ballads as well as works by minimalist composers (Nyman, Sakamoto) and gospel, not forgetting excerpts from the classical repertoire.
In 2011 she returned to perform in Teatro Verdi. At S. Gaetano Cultural Centre she took part in various shows in which she also performed her own music. She also returned to the classical repertoire with a series of events dedicated to romantic composers. She also joined Pollini Conservatoire Choir, performing with them on several occasions.
In 2014 she launched a petition to get a Blue Plaque for drummer Cozy Powell in Cirencester (Gloucestershire) and cooperated in organizing the unveiling ceremony. The event took place on the 7th of January 2016. The Plaque was unveiled by Brian May, Tony Iommi and Suzi Quatro. Other rock stars who attended were Bernie Marsden, Bob Richards, Carl Palmer, Don Airey, Mike Terrana, Neil Murray, Paul Raymond, Ted Mc Kenna, Tony Martin.
In 2015 she extended her collaborations to the UK, in Norwich she joined drummer and singer Gary Kennon in The Dream Debut duo, the duo perform both covers and original material by Mr. Kennon. During the summer she performed regularly in café Platform Twelve in Norwich, in Padua for In-verse, a non profit organization.

In summer of 2016 she performed almost daily at Harriets, Cafe Tearoom, located in the elegant London Street, in Norwich, adding to this also some gigs at Platform 12.

In June 2017 she took part in the Conservatoire Concerts, playing one of her compositions on the piano. The concert has been repeated other three times from October to December, in different locations in Padua. During the summer she performed in Norwich venues.
